RULES

To participate in the Pure Water Days Parade, each parade entry must have a designated responsible adult who must complete and submit a Parade Entry Application along with a Hold Harmless Agreement. CFMS will send allcorrespondence to this person at the mailingaddress provided, so make sure you have access to this. If your entry will have a vehicle, you will need to provide a copy of the driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.

Chippewa Falls Main Street reserves the right to reject or cancel any parade entry at any time, should it be determined the entry detracts from the basic purpose of the parade and viewing audience. Receipt of this form DOES NOT IMPLY AND/OR GUARANTEE ACCEPTANCE into the Pure Water Days Parade.

2025 THEME: Over & Under the Sea
$50 Entry fee must accompany registration.
Registration deadline: July 30

Due to safety issues, we have revised our rules to provide safety for everyone involved. We do not want to eliminate candy from the parade, but if rules are not followed we will be forced to in the future. If any rules are not followed, you will not be invited back.

1. Be respectful and follow the directions given by Rotary volunteers lining up and directing entries.
2. Kids need to be dropped off at the designated area (will be marked on the lineup map) for safety reasons. Please make sure all parents involved with your entry are aware.
3. Be in your assigned spot no earlier than 11 a.m. and no later than noon.
4. Candy may be handed out by UP TO 6 ADULTS. Do NOT throw from street or vehicle!  (You may toss candy from 2 ft away from crowd.) Two adults are REQUIRED to walk on the front side of each entry to ensure no one is approaching the vehicle/float. Children MUST ride on a float or in a vehicle unless it is an approved walking unit.
5. No political entries or political signage allowed.
6. No flyers or paper products of any kind.
7. Music and decorating with the theme are REQUIRED. (Walkers and animal units are exempt from needing music. Royalty entries do not need to follow the theme.)
8. Animal entries must pick up droppings - while waiting and during the parade.
9. No stopping to perform during the parade.
10. Post your lineup number on your entry if you’d like the chance to win an award.
11. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed at the staging area or during the parade. If we suspect you’ve been drinking, you will not be allowed to participate in future parades.
12. The parade ends on the block between Spring Street and the roundabout (on Bridge Street). You may continue  through the roundabout or use the Chamber of Commerce lot to disembark (at the discretion of the CF Police  dept.) You may not disembark at any time before that.
13.Due to limited staging space, 1 registration =  1 vehicle pulling a float* OR vehicle* OR 1 walking unit. (If you have more than 1 vehicle/float  you must fill out registration and pay a fee for each.) *walkers with the unit are included in the initial fee
NON PROFITS / CIVIC ORGS – There is still no charge; however you are limited to 1 vehicle/float.
